Washington, DC – The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) is pleased to announce that applications for BPS seed grants to fund PGY-2 pharmacy residency research projects will be accepted through September 17th, 2021.

 

Two funding opportunities of up to $5,000 each are available for projects highlighting the impact of board certification on:

  1. Improved medication-related outcomes for patients;
  2. Perceived value of pharmacist specialization across key stakeholder groups (e.g., patients, payers, physicians, and other health care providers); or,
  3. Successful integration of board-certified pharmacist specialists into institutional credentialing and privileging processes.

 

BPS is pleased to continue support of the research efforts of PGY2 residents and their preceptors to improve patient care, in alignment with the mission of BPS. In the 2021 grant program, BPS is especially interested in research projects that demonstrate the contribution of Board Certified Pharmacists to patient outcomes.” William M. About the Board of Pharmacy Specialties

The Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) was established in 1976 as an autonomous division of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).
