Recertification

Fees and Payment Methods

The fee for recertification is four hundred dollars ($400) regardless of the specialty or recertification method (examination or CE). This fee is payable to BPS when the application for recertification is submitted, no later than August 1.

Check, money orders, or credit card charges (VISA, MasterCard, American Express) will be accepted. Purchase orders can NOT be accepted. There will be a $10 fee for checks returned due to insufficient funds.

Any outstanding annual registration fees, plus a 5% penalty, must also be paid at the time of recertification.

NOTE: The Annual Fee is not charged in the year the individual is due to recertify. When applicable, an invoice for the Annual Fee is mailed in the spring.
